Bought the M416 CQB

Well, I bought the M416 CQB yesterday. That thing is pretty sweet, but in my opinion it isn't very good for long range shots. Up close action its perfect for, but not the best for long range.

Scope it out!!! With a scope you can put the dot on target and stay on target. I forget the name but I always use the one with Health and Ammo meters not the Range one!!!

I seem to have no problem with the m416 at long range, maybe its just me, but i can snipe with it.

Guys, the CQB variation has a simple "non-magnification" clear sight on it (black market only gun). It is meant for close quarters combat, Deathroom, Junk Flee, showdown, etc.... Now the regular M416 with a magnification scope works well at range, but you have to put 2 good bursts on the target, with a burst being 3-4 bullets each. I have gone 52 / 12 on snow valley before with that gun and a good scope.

Personally its good for short range combat, but I cant make myself move fast enough to scope much. Maybe Im just too slow.

Yeah, I used to be a run and gun, but I have really been trying hard lately to use targeted fire. If you really get used to a certain gun, you can go full auto while scoping, as long as you compensate for the guns recoil charachteristics.

I have been using this ever since I bought it, and am getting better with the scope thing. I mainly use the scope for a camped player.

Yes non magnifier scope but at mid range head shots are EASY!!! Sniping...prolly not but it deffinantly has LOW LOW LOW recoil. Prolly my favorite gun!!!!

This gun makes me get called a hacker all the time, because of its RECOIL. It seems at times, there is almost none at all. And then at times, it has recoil like the G36.
