I had to do this a while back when I was playing warhammer, but I cant remember what the fix is now. what do you change to keep your keyboard from locking up from holding the keys down?

I have been messing with computers a long time, and never had to do a fix for said issue, eventhough I know if you hold something down long enought it feels the buffer up and you get the crazy beep. What are you holding down to make this happen, besides W key, which I even then, is only for several secs at a time.

I think its the C key in particular, cause I changed c to crouch. Im not sure, it just locks the keyboard, and I have to remember to hit control to unlock it.

Try turning off Sticky Keys. Go to control panel > accessibility> keyboard and clear the box checked with sticky keys.
