i would like to know they are almost the same. they are both good but it seems that the m4a1 doesnt strike enough fear as it looks like a m16. what do you guys say?

Here lately, I have been most exclusively a M4 user. I like both, but the M416 has the edge. The fire-rate is a little faster, and I can put more bullets on target at full auto.

The m416 seems to have less recoil as the m4a1. I look for anything with little recoil, so at least I can almost hit the target.

Scoped M4 has a lot more punch and yes the recoil is way down so more hits means more damage!!!! Thumbs up for M4

I like the m4, because i think its more of a close/medmium ranged weapon. but, the m416 on the other hand can be used for just about any situation, so id have to say Go m416 =]

I am a big fan of the M416cqb. Oddly enough though, I think it has more recoil and slower rate of fire with a suppressor so I opt not to use one. I have never been a fan of the aks, but I hear a lot of game talk that the m416 is on par with the ak47 for knock down power. Im not sure I believe it, but I hear a lot of talk.
